The Learning Garden is certified by Asheville Greenworks as a Pollinator Habitat. Plants for pollinators thrive in several of the individual gardens. The Pollinator Garden, surrounding the Vegetable Garden, consists of annuals and is designed to attract beneficial insects to the Vegetable Garden. The Sun and Shade Garden has a new area dedicated to native plants that attract butterflies. Pollinator-attracting perennials are found throughout the Four Seasons and Cottage Gardens.
Come to this presentation to get ideas and a plant list for creating your own Pollinator Garden.
Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately as part of this presentation will be held outside, weather permitting.
