Meet us in the Dye Garden to learn two ways to use fresh indigo. We will harvest indigo from the garden and extract the pigment from the fresh leaves using two methods: ice and salt. You will go home with a lovely silk scarf using one of these methods. We will also show you how you can use a leaf to directly apply pigment to cloth.
The class is free, but we request a $10 donation to cover the costs of materials. Please bring exact change.
