Registration is now open for the 2017 Western North Carolina Gardening Symposium, Gazing Into the Future: What’s Coming in Gardening, which will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel Asheville-Biltmore on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
Our keynote speaker, Tony Avent, founder of Plant Delights Nursery, will tell us about new and exciting perennials. Other featured speakers are Dr. Tom Ranney of the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research & Extension Center, where he oversees the development of new nursery offerings; Craig Mauney, NC Extension Area Specialized Agent, who specializes in fruits and vegetables; and Brie Arthur, Garden Industry Communicator, who explains how to use new methods and technologies in our gardens.
The symposium fee is $50 if you register before September 19 and $55 after that date. Final registration deadline is October 15.
